Final Reflection

This was a semester full of new things learned and a lot of people met. In my Public Speaking course I practiced what I already knew about grammar, I learned and practice how to give a great speech and also, how to write an interesting essay. What I enjoyed the most were the Improtu Speeches, because I find fun to improvise a complete speech in less than 1 minute! I will always remember this course because giving an speech is very common in my degree (Architecture). Thank you all for a great semester!

Reflection Thrid Month

During this semester, I really learned a lot at the English Class, but mostly, I reviewed and practice a lot of vocabulary and gramatical structures that I did not practice since Junior High. The course and the material that we saw in class was nimbleness to me. Also, some words from the vocabulary that we learn that were interesting for me were blundered and wit. During the semester we learned gramtical structures, like first, second, and third conditionals. My favorite activity from all the semester was the TV Show, because it was really fun to play as the TV host. Mine was named "Controversial". This was a great semester, with alot of fun and new things learned!

Informative Speech - Didier Drogba

A Real Hero

Money and fame isn't all in life. This is the example Didier Drogba transmits to the world. And this is what I admire the most of him. Compared to other soccer players, he is a humble person. He is a real hero for his country, having the power to stop a Civil War. However, being a real hero is not easy. What you say and what you do has to always be coherent. I think we should take the example of Drogba to change the world, and at the same time as we are successful people, we can help others.

Are You ready?

"With a great power comes a great responsibilty". Taking care of others, protecting them, sacrifying your life. These are only some of the daily duties of a super hero. A person divided in two. One is a normal person, just like you and me: goes to school, works, sleeps. But the other is a person who has a great power and uses it for doing good things, like saving the world. They have a great responsibility.

Batman, Superman, Captain America, Iron Man, Hulk.These are a few of them. Of the "good guys", all completely different, with completely different personalities and powers. But all of them have the same mission: Saving the world. But in all of it's aspects. Being an example for others, not doing what you don't like others to do to you, being honest, being original, making a better world.

The world is in crisis: Economically, politically, regiously, and socially. There is a lack of super heroes. Who raises their hand? Don't be afraid and help the world. Don't be afraid of villians, corrupt politicians, narcos, thievs, bad companies. Care about others. The world needs REAL super heores. Are you ready to be one?

My name is Adrián García Martínez. I was born in Monterrey, Nuevo León on October 5, 1996. Currently, I'm studying the major in Architecture in Tecnológico de Monterrey.

I have a small family because I'm an only-child. So, my family consists of my father Rodolfo, my mother Delia, and me. Also, I have a small dog, bread Chihuahua, that is named Rocky.

Because of my major,  I'm a lover of everything that is art, including painting, drawing, sketching, movies, and theatre. Also, I like to cook all kind of food, but mainly food that is done in the barbecue. Also, I like to travel, know new places and people.
